Alpaca (Camelidae, Artiodactyla), similar to sheep in appearance, typically inhabits the mountains with high altitudes. There are about 3 million alpacas in the world, nearly 90% of which live in the highlands of South America in Peru and Chilean while others are found in the State of Victoria and New South Wales in Australia.
